How it works

URLBouncer helps you verify any URL quickly and safely. Here's what you can do:

Single URL Scan

Paste any URL into the homepage scanner. URLBouncer analyzes the domain, checks for phishing keywords, suspicious TLDs, and other risk signals. You'll get an instant verdict: Safe, Caution, or Likely Scam, along with clear reasons for the assessment.

Redirect Chain Tracking

Every scan automatically follows redirect chains (up to 7 hops) to reveal the final destination. Shortened URLs from services like t.co or bit.ly are expanded, and risky domains in the chain are highlighted in amber or red. View the full chain by expanding the "Redirect chain" section in your results.

Multi-Scan (Batch Processing)

Need to check multiple URLs at once? Use the Batch scanner on the home page to paste up to 100 URLs (one per line). Results are displayed in a sortable table with verdicts, scores, and top reasons. Export your results as CSV for further analysis.

QR Code Scanner

Scan QR codes directly from your camera or upload an image using the QR Scanner. If the QR code contains a URL, it's automatically analyzed and scored. Share the results with a permalink that includes a special "Scanned from QR" badge.

Privacy & Performance

All scans are processed securely. No personal information is stored, and results are cached for 24-48 hours to improve performance. You can share permalinks to specific domain checks, and all verdicts include transparent reasoning so you understand why a URL was flagged.
